Two words. IN. LOVE. I had no idea what would be in store for me when I opened the package carrying my first ever Baby Tula Carrier, but man am
I happy with the result. Being new to the baby carrier world (well new to anything baby related really), I researched and asked mommy friends what they liked the best before deciding which ones to give a try. I tried a few different carriers and Jack just didn’t seem to like them much. His chubby little legs always seemed to be pinched or not positioned great in the carriers and he was very vocal about not enjoying them. So I’ll be honest when I say I didn’t have high hopes for our new Free-To-Grow Tula. What I loved in theory is that I can potentially carry Jack around in the same carrier for up to 2 years, how easy and convenient! If only I could get my little stubborn boy to like carriers…
I first tried out our Discover carrier on a last minute trip to Home Depot. He’s been sleeping in his crib more often so I’ve been trying to get his room completely done. Not wanting to get the whole stroller production out, I opted to try the Tula Carrier. I had already set up the carrier to fit Jack at home prior to putting it in the car. It took a second to figure out the snaps for the Free-To-Grow to fit him, but once I did it was perfect. So cool how it doesn’t need an insert and will grow to fit the many sizes of your kid(s). Anyways, while walking around Home Depot with Jack I found out something marvelous. He loved the Tula carrier as much as I did. His head could see up enough that he could see all passing by, which was just an invitation for him to talk to everyone. He smiled and cooed as we walked through aisles. I was so happy that he loved it!
Now for the next test, would he sleep in it? The very next time I tried the carrier, he passed right out like a dream. The baby magic sleep dust is no joke with the Baby Tula. He sleeps so amazing in the carrier now. Every. Single. Time. Crazy loud one year old birthday party? Yep. The mall while you shop aimlessly? You bet. Friends house for dinner (while I’m sitting eating around his big head)? Oh yeah. I told you I’m in love!!
Needless to say, if you’re looking for a carrier and you have a baby who already hates them, I’d say it’s completely worth a try with the new Baby Tula Free-To-Grow Carrier. Plus they come in adorable designs. I mean, who doesn’t want to look this cute while carrying their little one?! Thanks Baby Tula!
